Once we made it up the mountain we had to go for a little walk to some kind of small one room mosque. I love how fog can change an environment and set a kind of mood. It had also been misty so thats why there are rain droplets on the second picture. I wonder how big those trees have gotten...?
Here are the pictures of the end of the wadi we had driven up! I find it fascinating now water can shape and break down rocks. Going through these photos has helped me realize how the mind can mix up and merge memories. This Oman trip and my Nepal trip somehow blended together for me. Haha. So apologies if this isn't as organized as Id like it to be.
I remember loving sitting in the back of this rental! It made for interesting street photography and brought a new perspective of things. I have one vivid memory of us driving up that mountain, fog all around, listening to Be Thou My Vision by Audrey Assad and it all felt oddly serene. I am totally not listening to the song as I type this... hahaha! I will post the photos I got up on that mountain soon!
This is the rental vehicle we drove in Oman! It had an awesome bench seat in the trunk! I was the one who sat back there more often than not. We had just visited a dried waterfall. This picture was taken in a wadi (a dried river).
This is (as far as I know) one of the few photos I have taken sitting through the window of a moving vehicle. It was fun! Haha! If I remember correctly we had just come down from a mountain in Oman.
I almost didn't post tonight but I encountered some cardinals right outside my window! I got excited, edited the photos and here I am! I spotted the male first because he doesn't really blend in as the female does.
I will never know what picture I had originally taken but thats okay! I love how a small mistake on my end or the developers end created such a beautiful and colorful masterpiece!
